SEPTEMBER EDUCATIONAL TOPIC

Speaker: Leland Nakai

 Orchid lovers grow Vanda orchids for their stunning, vibrant blooms and unique growing requirements that challenge many experienced growers. At our September 1st, general meeting, our own Leland Nakai will introduce us to the basics of Vandas. He has had tremendous success growing them in Mililani Mauka. He started growing them in full sun, then found that they did better with filtered sun. Don't miss out as Leland shares his knowledge with us and answers any of your questions about this very rewarding plant. Joining Leland at our meeting will be another Vanda expert. He is noted for killing the most Vandas in a very short time.
